A 50 foot custom designed catamaran is tricked out for the ultimate Caribbean adventure. Owned by Paul Boardman, originally from the UK, and Marisol Velarde, from Peru, Fat Cat Catamaran Tours has been taking loads of people from Playa del Carmen and Puerto Aventuras for tons of fun for the past three and a half years. The Crew: 1. Kimba- Originally from Roatan, Honduras, Kimba is 4 and a half years old. She is bilingual in both Spanish and English, and her favorite food is the Roasted Pork from Mannie’s Bier Garten. 2. Jez Searle- Originally from Dawlish, in Southern England. Jez met Marisol and Paul in Honduras. He is just 4,500 miles short of sailing solo around the world. 3. Andy Coles- Andy arrived in Playa del Carmen in April and started working with Jez and Fat Cat as their second skipper and professional Mixologist. Andy is from Cheltenham, England and has traveled around the world at least 6 times. 4. Jose Luis Flores- From Veracruz Mexico, Jose had been with Fat Cat for the past year and offers incredible knowledge and expertise of sailing and ocean conditions 5. Medico Garcia Cruz- Medico is also from Veracruz and prior to joining the Fat Cat crew, Medico was a dive boat captain here in Playa del Carmen. The Fat Cat Catamaran tour includes:
Free drinks including beer, rum punch, Coke, Coke light, mineral water and fruit juice. Free Snacks: guacamole, salsa, chips and fresh fruit platters. If you plan to book the tour, please bring a towel, sunscreen (although part of the boat is covered), swimwear, change of clothes & payment ticket on the day of the sail. If you book through us, we will send an email payment confirmation to take with you. In the event of bad weather or adverse sea conditions on the day of your scheduled tour, The Fat Cat may be forced to cancel your trip. We will attempt to contact you and the FatCat personell will notify you at your hotel as well. If it is not possible for Fat Cat to reschedule you during your stay, the deposit placed will be refunded to you. This tour is not recommended for those who suffer from seasickness. If you have other questions, special requests or need to accommodate a private party or group, we would be glad to inquire. FatCat offers two tours per day, one at 9AM and one at 2PM. The price is $84 USD per adult and $50 USD per child (12 and under). Transportation to the marina in Puerto Aventuras is included in the price.

No refunds are available if you do not arrive for the set time of your pick up. For refund of the 30% deposit cancellations need to be made one week prior to the tour date.
